Dr. Madeline Dills takes care of and operates on patients with vascular disease in Baton Rouge and the surrounding areas. An Alabama native, she graduated with honors from Auburn University. She earned her medical degree at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) School of Medicine. Dr. Dills then completed a five year residency in integrated vascular surgery at LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans where she was awarded the Warren L. Gottsegen Award for recognition of an Outstanding Vascular Surgery Resident. She joined the Vascular Clinic in 2024.
Dr. Dills practices a wide scope of both open surgery and advanced endovascular techniques. She is certified in innovative endovascular technologies including Transcarotid Artery Revascularization (TCAR) and Thoracic Branched Endografts (Gore TBE). Dr. Dills is certified in vascular ultrasound interpretation (RPVI). She is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery with LSU and is passionate about resident and medical student education. She specializes in carotid disease, thoracic and abdominal aneurysm repair, peripheral arterial disease, chronic venous insufficiency, and dialysis work. She is very passionate about limb salvage.
